floral + chambray

c/o Lula Roe Maxi Skirt, Forever 21 Chambray Button-up (similar), GoJane Heels (similar), Target Fedora (similar), Tiffany & Co. Necklace

For me, summer is all about breezy pieces and laid-back style. This maxi skirt from Lula Roe is pure perfection. The flared skirt, gorgeous mint color and floral print make this one of my absolute favorite summer staples. Also amazing is the length. In today's post, I hiked the skirt to above my belly button for more of an A-line cut, but without any altering, this skirt is super long and hits in all of the right places -- everything I look for in a maxi. Throwing on a chambray button-up and fedora create a look that definitely belongs on the beach...please excuse me while I daydream! Punching it up a notch, I just had to slide on this fun coral/orange pump.

Summer, I am officially ready for you! So bring on the pool parties, BBQs and patio happy hours :)

xoxo,

Lo

fly away

c/o Farminista Dress, c/o Deb Shops Cargo Jacket and Belt, Target Sandals, c/o Sunglasses Shop Aviators, Michael Kors Watch

I love a good print. No like seriously, I love prints. As seen in some of my more recent posts here and here, I have a slight lust for any dress in a bold, flirty or uber-feminine pattern and today's post is no different. This bird-print frock from Farminista is just so...sweet! And I love it. To kick it up a notch, I paired the piece with a military jacket for a fun mix of hard & soft.

Taking the "edgier" aspect of the look to the next level, I just had to style this outfit with my new aviators from SunglassesShop. There is something so cool (?) about the aviator shape that adds an instant level of chic to any look.

Sunglasses Shop is a site that carries designer sunglasses & offers them at a more affordable price point...perfect for my budget-conscious Fashionably Lo readers. So head on over and pick out your next pair!

Lo

snake charmer

What does one wear to Lauren Weisherger's launch event for her new novel Revenge Wears Prada? Double python, of course! I was lucky enough to attend an amazing event at the W Washington P.O.V. Lounge last night and, let me just say, I had a blast. Being surrounded by so much fabulosity was not only pleasantly overwhelming, but I also got to meet the author herself (such a beauty!) and made some new blogger besties. I never got the chance to read Devil Wears Prada but I have seen the movie about fifty times and can never get enough. From the jaw-dropping fashion to my girl Meryl, I am literally obsessed with the whole thing... so I am beyond excited to read the next chapter!

Keep reading for outfit details and check out some highlights from last night's event!

Deb Shops Summer Style: Dressed Denim

c/o Deb Shops Peplum Top, Distressed Denim and Sandals, H&M Earrings

For my final look showcasing summer-ready pieces from Deb Shops, I wanted to highlight a fun way to wear distressed denim. I immediately fell in love with this top - the stripes, peplum detail and super cute neon pink bow, I mean, can it get much better? Pairing the cuffed jeans with the cutesy top and dressier, metallic heels and earrings create a more casual-chic look, perfect for a night out with the girls.

And in case you missed them, head over to my previous posts to see how I styled a fun & flirty LWD and the coolest romper-

xoxo,

Lo
