This was by far one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. I went home to celebrate my dad's birthday and my boyfriend surprised me with a mini-getaway to Charlotte - talk about AMAZING. We stayed at the super-chic Aloft Uptown Hotel, took in the first half of a Bobcats game and then danced the night away at Whiskey River [after an attempt at riding the mechanical bull]. All in all, this was one hugely successful weekend and I can't wait to go back!
