Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of a good brunch. Anytime you can get bottomless mimosas, breakfast OR lunch (or both at this particular outing) and not have to even wake up early for all the deliciousness - I'm sold. This past Sunday was no different. With my boyfriend in town from GA, I had to expose him to one of my fave brunch spots - The Big Board on H Street. Their fried chicken and waffles...amaze. Even better, $10 unlimited mimosas - hello! Spending time with the guy you love and some awesome friends never hurts but when you throw in a delish brunch, it can only go up from there. 

For the not-so-rare but still special occasion, I threw on my typical weekend/brunch uniform - something stylish yet comfy for the overeating that was bound to happen. A faux fur vest paired with a flowy stop and some adorable fringe boots was the perfect choice, again :) Although I am getting pretty tired of this cold weather, I will always be a fan of layers so bring it on and Spring, hurry up!
